What is streaking?
Streakers are those who complete the San Diego Foundation SoCal Triple Crown in consecutive years!
What do I get as a Streaker?
Each year, the streakers will get an additional medal slider for their SCTC medal at the final event, America’s Finest City Half Marathon and 5K! In case you’re counting like we are – that’s three races and at least FIVE medals in one year!
Do I have to participate every year to get the streaker gift?
You will receive the streaker medal each time you complete the series in a consecutive year. Let’s use Laverne and Shirley as an example:
Laverne
2024 SoCal Triple Crown – Laverne completes the San Diego Foundation SoCal Triple Crown series!
2025 SoCal Triple Crown – Laverne completes the series again and earns the 2025 streaker medal!
2026 SoCal Triple Crown – Laverne can’t stop, won’t stop. She completes the series AGAIN and earns the 2026 streaker medal!
2027 SoCal Triple Crown – You guessed it! She’s still going and earns the 2027 streaker medal!
Shirley
2024 SoCal Triple Crown – Shirley completes the San Diego Foundation SoCal Triple Crown series!
2025 SoCal Triple Crown – Shirley completes the series again and earns the 2025 streaker medal!
2026 SoCal Triple Crown – Shirley takes the year off running and sails around the world!
2027 SoCal Triple Crown – Shirley finds her land legs, gets back into running and completes the San Diego Foundation SoCal Triple Crown series!
2028 SoCal Triple Crown – Shirley completes the series again and earns the 2028 streaker medal!
