7:00 AM – Registration/packet pickup and event site opens
7:00 AM – The Rush Coffee on-site selling coffee and pastries
7:15 AM – Team photos (under the start/finish banner)
7:40 AM – Survivor group photo (under the start/finish banner)
7:45 AM – Opening ceremony
8:00 AM – Walk start
9:10 AM – Post-event raffle

EVENT PARKING

Limited parking is available in the Tidelands Park parking lot and on Mullinex Drive on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional parking can be found on the adjacent streets outside of Tidelands Park. Arrive early to ensure you have time to find a parking spot and make it to the walk and opening ceremony on time!

EVENT DAY BIB AND T-SHIRT PICKUP

Unless you are on one of the large teams listed below, you will pick up your bib number and T-shirt at the event. 


Virtual Participants

Thank you for participating with us from afar! Your materials will be mailed directly to you using the address provided during registration.


LARGE TEAMS

If you are on one of the following teams, your team captain is responsible for picking up and distributing your bib number and printed shirt to you on or before event morning. We suggest checking with your team captain regarding your event day meetup plan.

Event Day Registration

Event day registration will open at 7:00 AM. The registration fees will be $55 for adults, $25 for children (10 and under), and $10 for dogs.

Join us under the start/finish banner starting at 7:15 AM for team photos!


Survivor Photo

Join us under the start/finish banner at 7:40 AM SHARP for this special survivor group photo!


START LINE & COURSE

The walk will start at 8:00 AM, and the course is an out-and-back route along Coronado’s bayfront. Enjoy stunning views of San Diego’s skyline, passing ships, and much more. There will be volunteers and arrows to guide you. Follow the boardwalk along the water until the turnaround, where water will be available. Poured water will also be available in the festival area before and after the walk. Please note that the boardwalk will be open for everyday use, including cyclists, joggers, and other walkers, during our walk. Be courteous and make way for them when possible.


RAFFLE

Each walker will be given one complimentary ticket with their event materials, and additional tickets will be available for purchase during the event for $1 each or an arm’s length for $10. All tickets must be turned in at the Ovarian Cancer Alliance booth to be eligible for the raffle. The raffle winners will be announced beginning at 9:10 AM from the main stage, and all winners must be present to win. Check out this year’s awesome raffle prizes and silent auction items here!

POST-WALK REFRESHMENTS & ACTIVITIES

After your walk, enjoy light refreshments, spend time with friends and family, take a photo at our step-and-repeat, or leave a card on the Memory Wall!

Looking for a relaxing spot in the shade? Enjoy our large resting tent, just to the left of the stage.

Our walk raises funds to support outreach programs aimed at raising awareness of ovarian cancer, the most lethal gynecologic cancer. Currently, there is no screening test for the early detection of ovarian cancer, and the overall 5-year survival rate is only 45%. However, when detected early, the survival rate is over 90%!
