wear blue: run to remember at the GOVX Half Marathon
The 2026 GOVX Half Marathon and 5K is proud to partner with wear blue: run to remember, a nonprofit dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of American military members through active remembrance. Since 2010, the organization has honored thousands of fallen heroes, with athletes worldwide joining in weekly tributes.
All runners are invited to take part in a Circle of Remembrance on race morning. In this moment of reflection, the names of fallen service members will be spoken aloud, carrying their memory forward with every step of the half marathon.
