Start Line Location
NEW THIS YEAR: Both the Half Marathon and 5K must stage for the start line near the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge at the intersection of Trevor Hoffman Way and Tony Gwynn Drive. Please use this pin for the staging location.
The start line for both the half marathon and 5K, located at the intersection of Harbor Drive & 5th Avenue in downtown San Diego, can only be accessed via the start line staging area. From the staging area, participants will proceed over the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge, then follow the directions of event personnel to load into the appropriate 5K or half marathon wave corrals. Finish Line & Festival Area Location
The finish line for both the 5K and Half Marathon is at the intersection of 5th Avenue & K Street, near the Hilton – San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. See the Event Key Areas Map here for an overview of the entire event area.
Parking Options
Paid Metered
Paid, metered parking is available throughout downtown San Diego. Some roads in and around downtown will not be available for parking on event day, so be sure to check for No Park signs before parking. Towing will be enforced in no-park areas.
Paid Parking Lots
There are many lots located downtown. For hours, rates, and availability, please visit Parkopedia.
If you are being dropped off, make sure to exit your vehicle a few blocks away from the staging area to avoid closed roads and traffic congestion. Once you have been dropped off, walk to the start line staging area at the intersection of Trevor Hoffman Way and Tony Gwynn Drive (location pin). There is no runner drop-off near the actual start line on Harbor Drive. All participants must access the start line via the start line staging area.
Ride the Trolley
The MTS Trolley network is an excellent option! On race day, plan to arrive at the 12th & Imperial Trolley Station. For exact arrival/departure times and a list of all stations, please visit www.sdmts.com.
