Race Winners
This year, Jackson Friesth and Paula Lamont won the men’s and women’s half marathons. Friesth finished the race at a swift 1:10:29. Paula came in quickly after at 1:18:06. For the 5K, Abraham Morales and Meredith Pathria were our first runners across the finish line!
Special Spotlight: A Veteran’s Tribute
One of the most heartfelt stories from the race was the story of Joseph Higgins, who ran in honor of his brother and ten other Marines who were lost in Iraq. This tribute touched the hearts of many and reminded us of the profound connections between endurance sports and personal commemoration. Watch his interview clip here.
