Race Information
5K Race
Kick off the day with the timed 5K starting at 7:30 AM. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first-timer, this race offers a fantastic route through Downtown Vista’s scenic areas, and the supportive community atmosphere will keep you motivated every step of the way. Register here!
Kids Runs
The fun continues with the kids’ runs, starting with the 1/4-mile at 8:45 AM and the 1-mile and 8:55 AM. These races are a great way to introduce little ones to the joy of running and healthy living. The courses start and finish on the track of the Vista Magnet Middle School and one adult can accompany each registered kiddo. Register here!
Costume Contest
Do you like to run dressed in your Berry best? Don’t miss the costume contest at 9:30 AM on the San Diego Football Club Main Stage! Showcase your creativity with some strawberry-themed costumes for yourself or your family. Fun prizes for the berry best-dressed runners! Even if costumes aren’t your jam, join us to cheer for your favorite solo or team costumes.
What You Get
All race participants receive a custom t-shirt, an impressive commemorative medal, a one-day pass to the invite-only Carlsbad Columbia Sportswear Employee Store, fresh strawberries, and a complimentary beer in the beer garden for those 21 and over. 
Parking and Transportation
Convenient parking is available at the Vista Civic Center, Vista Library, and Vista Transit Center. Shuttles will run from the Vista County Courthouse, making it easy for you to get to and from the event without any hassle! Learn more here!
Additional Information
- Strollers are allowed in the 5K race, so feel free to bring your little ones along for the ride.
- Dogs are not permitted on the grounds of the Vista Magnet Middle School, so they are not allowed to join you for the race.
- Please note that gear check will not be available on event day, so plan accordingly.
